Grouping messages by date

Is it possible to do this with WLM, in a similar way to Outlook (Today,
Yesterday, Last week etc)?

Mudface:

I looked at my WLM interface, and saw that the messages were organized by date, but not grouped in the way you are asking about. Perhaps someone else knows a trick with WLM to change how it organizes the mail.

Thanks. Bit of a shame, that's a very useful feature.

Re: Grouping messages by date

Uh, why is that useful? As long as the messages are sorted by date,
I don't need a program to tell me which ones are today's and which ones
are yesterday's. That just takes up extra space on the message list.

The best you could do AFAIK is use the Find messages tool.
E.g. for Today the keystroke sequence would be:
Ctrl-Shift-F,Alt-c,F4,Enter,Enter

In fact, I do that sequence frequently for opening Drafts
or the Outbox while still having a particular newsgroup open.

I haven't looked to see whether the equivalent
of that sequence would be possible using Views
but I have often imagined that there might be some
unexploited generality in Define Views...
