This is a bug that has existed since way back in the early beta versions of
WLM. I had exactly the same problem when transferring messages from Outlook
2002 to WLM.
On Windows XP, I have managed to successfully transfer messages from Outlook
to WLM - complete with correct email addresses - by using Outlook Express as
an intermediate step. That is:
1. Open Outlook Express
2. On menu File, Import, Messages... select Microsoft Outlook then Next
3. Select the Outlook folder(s) you want to import into Outlook Express (I
imported each folder individually, though that may not be necessary)
4. Once you have the message in Outlook Express, open WLM.
5. On menu File, Import, Messages... select Microsoft Outlook Express 6
6. Import the folders you want from Outlook Express into WLM.
This process worked for me. If it won't work on Vista, then perhaps you
could copy the Outlook pst file onto a computer with XP and Outlook Express,
then follow the steps above?
