Is there newsgroup sent folder

Yesterday downloaded Windows Live Mail for use on desktop within Xp
environment.
The text appearance is pleasing. The various servers have a faster download
of headers as compared to Outlook Express.
BUT a post sent to a newsgroup does not have a SENT folder. The news post
does not turn up in the Mail SENT folder. The configuration option has been
checked to store SENT messages.
Is the absence of a SENT folder the default for newsgroups in Windows Live
Mail V8 (12.01.1606)?

Yes, there is a sent folder for newsgroup posts. Look in the left pane
under Storage folders, Sent items.
