| Guest | Color code envelopes from different accounts. Is there a way to color code the evelope icon beside my mail messages. When I'm looking at all unread messages, it would be nice if I could visually see what account a msg came from with out having to hoover my mouse over the individual messages. |

| Guest | Re: Color code envelopes from different accounts. No, but you can add an Account column. Just right-click on any column header. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Ken K" <Ken K@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:CEB2D38E-A3A8-4647-B7BE-83D23C1825B1@xxxxxx

| Guest | Re: Color code envelopes from different accounts. Thanks for your reply, but I don't see any column headings. Theres only the Sort pulldown and whether I want to sort ascending or descending. "Gary VanderMolen" wrote:

| Guest | Re: Color code envelopes from different accounts. Typical column headings are "From", "Subject", "Date", etc. Don't you see those at the top of the message list pane? Another way to do this is go to View, Columns... View is on the File menu bar. If you don't see it, press the Alt key. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Ken K" <KenK@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:4294053B-130E-4264-AE76-135CDBEFBDBE@xxxxxx

Not the icon but you can change the highlighting for the rest of the line using a rule. Unfortunately I don't think that there is any way to do it (conveniently) manually otherwise.
I don't think even rules have any way of looking at the account information, other than as clues obtained from the From: field or To: field. Oh... there is something in there I hadn't noticed before: When the message is from the specified account How does that work? Looks like it would work... Then your Action would be Highlight it with color. Try it and see? ; ) Let us know! Good luck Robert Aldwinckle --- | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
