viewing message body from internet cache

Can anyone give any advice regarding a relatively simple way to view
the message body text from an HTML file that has been extracted from
the cache? I assume it's a CSS issue and, obviously, the text can be
read at source level but within the browsers I have tried (including
Word and Adobe), the message body is blank.
