Quick View - All email/All Inbox not displaying messages

Quick View - All email/All Inbox not displaying messages

I have Windows Live set up for 2 email accounts, so I always just look in the
Quick View area to read mail from both of the accounts, this used to work
just fine until....

I added two newsgroups, read a couple posts, then deleted these newsgroups.

Now, the Quick Views (on left of screen) of my email accounts is always
blank - "there are no items in this view". I can click "All inbox" or "all
e-mail" under "QuickViews and it is blank. From the menu
View-CurrentView-ShowAllMessages is set. There is nothing Customized from
the View menu. I have rebooted and no change.

The starngest thing is I didn't play around with any of these settings
before this problem started, Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks in
advance.

Interesting... it appears tha tnew emails show up under the "Quick Views"
now, but only new email that is recieved. So the real question is how do I
have all my existing email show up under "Quick View"???

Rebuild your Quick views by deleting the registry Value
"SearchFolderVersion" under the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. This will cause
WLMail to rebuild its Quick view data store when it is next started.

This is a known bug: Quick views break if you delete a newsgroup or a
Storage folder or a feed. We're all hoping it'll be fixed in the first
update, which can't be far away now.

I am running Vista and in the Resistry file there is not a line that
says:SearchFolderVersion" . My priblem is in the "flagged items folder"
there are no flagged items even though I do have lflagged item in each email
account. Can you help me fix this?
