SPELLING LANGUAGE

I'm using Vista Home Premium and WLMail and I want to use an English
(Australia) spell checker. Using the instructions in previous posts, I've
changed the spell.ini code from 1033 (USA) to 2057 (UK) and that works fine.

However, I'd be grateful for advice on several related questions:
1. Although I've changed the spell.ini file as above, Tools > Options >
Spelling still says that English (USA) is installed -- can this be changed?
2. Does Microsoft have English (Australia) for WLMail and, if so, what is
the code for that language?
3. Are these language codes published somewhere so that people can look
them up themselves?
4. Can we expect that Microsoft will add simpler language changing
capabilities into WLMail (as, for example, existed in Outlook Express)?
5. I understand that the WLMail spell checker is independent of Microsoft
Office spell checker, but I recall that someone said that he/she had found a
way to connect the two. If that is so, can someone tell me how it is done?

Thanks in anticipation.

Supposedly, yes - I think the Oz dictionary is incorporated in the one you
have, but no-one has reported getting it to work. The language code is 3081.

Yes. http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/r.../lcid-all.mspx

Your guess is as good as anyone else's, and I don't know what capabilities
existed in Outlook Express, but I would expect so.

It was only a couple of weeks ago, so a quick search should have answered
your question without (a) your having to post it and (b) my having to
respond. See
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...d66&sloc=en-us
and adapt as appropriate.

Sorry if I was a bit short in this post. It's not been a good day. What I
meant to ask was: can you give a couple of examples of words that the
British English spellchecker would reject, but the Australian would accept?
Or vice versa? If you're just thinking of words that are peculiar to Oz, you
could always add them to your custom dictionary.
