Questions about Windows Live

Hello there,

I have 3 questions about Windows Live Mail:

1. Will later versions add support for PGP/MIME? I've been longing for this for years....

2. When sending an attachment, is there a way to specify its MIME-type? I once sent a diff which should have been marked as text but Windows Live Mail treated it as octet-stream. This didn't change even after I add .diff suffix to the Explorer and set its MIME type as application/text in the registry.

3. When encoded as base64, can the message wrap around to avoid a long line? The options is only available when I choose UUencode.

Re: Questions about Windows Live

That page shows a date of July 17 (2007?). That can't be the latest information.
There is somewhat later info at http://morethanmail.spaces.live.com/

Thanks for clarifying that Gary. I think that the responsibility for keeping the content current is with Microsoft. We in the general community rely on them to provide us with current resources. Obviously I found one that Microsoft didn't keep current.

Re: Questions about Windows Live

Unfortunately, none of the information published by Microsoft
about Windows Live Mail is very current.
It would really be nice if they published a 'known issues' list.
