| | Bug: some messages in "Unread" that I can not delete. Hi, I'm using Windows live mail. I don't know if it's relevant but it was right after I opened windiws mail, when I got 7 unread email in my Unread folder. I was messing with different email clients and send to my emails many dufferent test emails. 7 of those emails are now in my unread folder. They dont apper in any other folder in my Windows live mail. I can not delete them. I can not read them. When I click on it it displays: ---------------------------------------- Message could not be displayed Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again. --------------------------------------------- If I press Delete - nothing hapens. If I try to move it to Trash, it says: -------------------- The selected message(s) could not be moved. An error has occured. -------------------- lol, this is insane, I dont want to constantly see 7 unread messages in Unread folder. P.S. As i said, I had many email clients before to try them out. I'm also chacking my Gmail account (found on about.com how to do this) and I'm using yPops for yahoo mail. Any help appreciated! I dont want to reinstall this client and then configure gmail and yahoo again... |

| | Re: Bug: some messages in "Unread" that I can not delete. Rebuild your Quick views by deleting the registry Value "SearchFolderVersion" under the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. This will cause WLMail to rebuild its Quick view data store when it is next started. This is a known bug: Quick views break if you delete a newsgroup or a Storage folder or a feed. -- Noel "Konstantin" <Konstantin@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7D8614FA-6930-4473-9925-C64901925A29@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi, I'm using Windows live mail. | | Re: Bug: some messages in "Unread" that I can not delete. I had to rebuild yesterday after the difficulties with the MS news servers. The problem only showed up when the servers came back up. -- Seymour "Ildhund" <jnllb@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:883FFC5D-33C9-4789-B6F4-16A6E98EB0A1@xxxxxx Quote: > Rebuild your Quick views by deleting the registry Value > "SearchFolderVersion" under the registry key > HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. | | Re: Bug: some messages in "Unread" that I can not delete. You can restore your Quick views by editing the registry. If you are willing to try this, Close down Windows Live Mail Click Start > Run, enter regedit in the box and click OK Navigate to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail and click on it In the right-hand pane, find SearchFolderVersion Right-click on it and select Delete Close down Registry Editor Restart Windows Live Mail -- Noel "Konstantin" <Konstantin@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:94FB4663-70B7-410F-920A-8BC74CFFD970@xxxxxx Quote: > (prevous message bugged) > > THanks.
