Re: View Source/Html?

Hi, Winston.

That link doesn't work for me. Typo maybe? :>(

Hmmm... Can't even reach http://www.vistax64.com/ now. Maybe a server
problem.

Re: View Source/Html?

Hi, Jethro.

Maybe I don't understand what you are really asking, but <Ctrl>+F3 still
shows me the source code for the message, just like it has since OE. Same
as File | Properties | Details | Message Source.

Even Alt-Shift-H (if necessary) plus Ctrl-F2 works!

However, I suspect what the complaint is about the lack of
both Source and Preview panes (or equivalent) in a
Rich Text (HTML) Format composition window.

I wonder what WLMail does if you just stuff a complete
HTML document into its composition window (when it's
in that mode)? <eg> If that works you don't really need
to have any of the features of an HTML editor incorporated
in this E-mail writer.

In fact, isn't there another Live product which does both?...

http://get.live.com/writer/overview

It specifically mentions "Preview before you post"
but there is no clue how well it interfaces with WLMail... ; }

Perhaps someone will test that possibility for us
and report? ; )

Re: View Source/Html?

They removed that feature as they didn't want to have to program it and
support it. WLM is a very dumbed down version of OE.

Think going from high school back to kindergarten.

Re: View Source/Html?

Hi, Winston.

Yep! Works for me now, too. 10:08 CDT 4/22/08.

Musta been a server problem, after all.

I got there too, after a couple of false starts. My only comment is it's a
pretty site, but thank heaven for NNTP!

Re: View Source/Html?

Is it hidden in the menu which is hidden by default?
