Sheesh, this is really annoying. All of a sudden I cannot send any messages
from the Windows Live Mail program from any of my accounts, regardless of
whether its a fresh email or a reply. The error message holds no clues. What
is going on?!

"The message could not be sent. An error has occurred."


Any ideas? Cheers.

What Anti Virus or Anti Spam software do you have installed Tom?

This one is on currently on sale as part of Vista. (Not just as some
download add-on).

You will note many very similar problems in both?

I can access my accounts through the web, it is definitely a problem
unrelated to my email accounts. One is Hotmail and one is a Pop3 account with
my hosting.

My Anti Virus is Nod32. It is actually due to run out next month as I
discovered although that shouldn't affect it now, I also closed the anti
virus program to see if it was that causing the problem - no such luck.

Running Vista sp1, if thats any help.

It will help our troubleshooting efforts if you post the complete error
messages, one for the Hotmail account and one for the POP account.

I've posted the entire error message, which is why this is so confusing - It
doesn't actually explain anything.
