Vista - WLM Error Code 800cccd2 - Emptying Google Trash on IMAP Account

I have a Google IMAP account setup in WLM, and when I right-click on the
Trash to empty it, I get the following error:

"Your folder could not be deleted: the IMAP server refused to delete it. If
the folder no longer exists, you should refresh your folder list for this
IMAP server."

The expanded 'Details' show:

Internal folder cannot be deleted. (Failure)

Configuration:
Account: xxxxxxxx.xxxxx@xxxxxx (IMAP)
Server: imap.gmail.com
User name: xxxxxxxx.xxxxx@xxxxxx
Protocol: IMAP
Port: 993
Secure(SSL): 1
Code: 800cccd2

I have already reset and re downloaded the folder list, and the IMAP
'Deleted Items path' is set to 'Trash'.

I don't understand the error either as I am not trying to delete the folder
itself rather I am deleting the contents of the folder by selecting 'Empty
'deleted items' folder".

Any idea how to fix this?

Hi Shawn,

I've just 'migrated' to using IMAP with Google Mail and I'm getting exactly the same errors as you when emptying the Trash/Bin or Spam folders. Deleting individual/multiple messages at a time from these folders work fine. Have you found a solution to this problem? If you have, please share. Thank you very much.
