| | Re: folders Short answer - no. You're stuck with a collection of standard folders for each account. Long answer - up to a point. 1. You can use Message rules (Tools menu) to divert all incoming mail to folders under one of your POP accounts or to folders under Storage folders. You can't do anything about HTTP mail (Hotmail etc) (without cheating) or IMAP accounts, though. Note that Gmail offers both POP3 and IMAP access. 2. You can use Quick views to *view* mail as if it were conglomerated. Note that Quick views do not represent folders; they are only an alternative way of *viewing* what's in the actual folders. If you can't see Quick views, select [View >] Layout > Folder pane > Show Quick views. Either click the elusive spanner to the right of where it says Quick views in the Folder pane or right-click on Quick views to get a customization menu. No, you can't disable the Unread mail Quick view. -- Noel "A" <a@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:ex0TOCSpIHA.4308@xxxxxx Quote: > Can I force each email account to use the same inbox, etc. instead of > individual ones? so, how? . |
