| | WLM has stopped working I have been getting this message appx. 30% of the times I use WLM. I usually get the message after I have closed WLM but occasionally I will get this message sometime soon after opening it. I have uninstalled WLM and reinstalled it many times and it does not seem to correct the problem. The problem also exists after a clean reformat and reinstallation of the OS, prior to adding any third party software. This is a clean system with no adware/malware present. AV is NOD32 with no email scanning. AS is AVG 7.5 paid version with real time scanning activated. Firewall is native Windows Firewall. The problem does not bother me in any way. I have no problem with the mail accounts or discussion groups. It's simply a nuisance. Is this a known bug, and if so, is anything being done about it? Just curious. However, I went to Problem Reports and Solutions and made screenshots of the last two crashes. I don't know why the problems were not reported as I have it set to report all problems. I have included them also. I could find nothing in Event Viewer, but then again, maybe I was looking in the wrong place for the problem. I don't really know. Again, thank you for the reply. I appreciate it. http://imagegrotto.com/view-Capture__019175.JPG http://imagegrotto.com/collection-5009 http://imagegrotto.com/view-Capture__039179.JPG C.B. -- It is the responsibility and duty of everyone to help the underprivileged and unfortunate among us. |
