Messages not showing in Storage Folders

I have just converted to Live Mail from Outlook Express.
All of my folder have been copied across and I can access them with no
proplems.
However if I look in a folder using Outlook I can see and access any stored
emails while using Live Mail the folder is empty.
Any suggestions?

RE: Messages not showing in Storage Folders

I had the same problem, but found my imported files from oe under "Storage
Folder" in a file called "Imported Folders." Under Imported Folders I
clicked on "Local Folders" and there they were! Hope that helps.

RE: Messages not showing in Storage Folders

I have the same problem. The missing messages in my storage folders appear to
be the most recent ones that I placed there when I was using Outlook Express.

There is no folder called Imported Files in my Storage Folder when viewed
using Windows Live Mail.

RE: Messages not showing in Storage Folders

Did you import your messages from OE? You have to do that first. Then you
should find a folder called "Imported Files." If you imported and still
can't find the folder "Imported Files" I'm stumped.

RE: Messages not showing in Storage Folders

Thank you for your help. After manually importing the folders, all the
messages were in their respective folders as you described.
However, the Windows Live Installer tried to automatically transfer all my
OE folders to WLM and this is where it 'botched the job'. Can this problem
be solved so that future users will be spared the frustration of having
incomplete folders?

RE: Messages not showing in Storage Folders

I really haven't a clue as to whether Ms can or will make this easier in the
future.
This was the first time I ever tried getting help on a bulletin board and
was successful. I just kinda stumbled in here hoping to find help myself.
I'm glad my post helped you Gary!
