Storage Mail Folders - transferring mail to

When I attempt to move an E-mail to a storage mail folder, the E-mail simply
disappears and I get a message to the effect that Live Mail "cannot transfer
Email." When I click on "details," I get an "Error 4403." This program
seems far more primitive and clunky than Outlook. Where are these E-mails
going? Some of them are important to me, which is why I'm trying to save
them.

There could be a problem with your existing storage folders. Try creating a new storage folder and copy a message into it to see if that works.

Try looking in your All e-mail Quick view for the missing messages.

If the missing messages went somewhere, they would be somewhere in your WLMail Message Store in a subfolder of the 'Storage Folders' folder.

To find the location of your message store, go to: Tools->Options...->Advanced [tab]->Maintenance->Store Folder (the default location is a hidden folder).
