| | automatic opening In OE a new message would not open until I manually opened it. I can't find that option in WLM. I like the security of being able to delete a message without opening it. Is this option available? Thanks for your help. |

| | Re: automatic opening It's been quite a while since I used OE, but I seem to recall that in that respect the two programs work the same. To do what you want, disable the preview pane: View, Layout... Incidentally, Windows Live Mail automatically disables the preview pane for messages in the Junk E-mail (spam) folder. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Capn Buck" <CapnBuck@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:A4BBB671-604D-41B3-B018-A8AB269E0BC6@xxxxxx Quote: > In OE a new message would not open until I manually opened it. So by unchecking the "Automatically download message" box in the Read Options tab, the body/attachment/tracking graphics are not on your system. You can simply delete this email. This is the best feature all the other mailers are sorely missing. I am so grateful that WLM retain this feature from OE!!!!! |
