| | Folders Not Updating Unread Message Count Lately, I've noticed that when downloading messages, the number in parentheses (to the right of the folder name) in the folder pane sometimes does not increment. This is especially noticeable when downloading newsgroup messages at the default setting of 300 at a time. If I close WLM, and re-start it, the updated message counts appear correctly. This seems to have started after updating Vista to SP1, but I don't know if there is any correlation. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? |

| | Re: Folders Not Updating Unread Message Count This has happened to me every so often. However not often enough to see a pattern. I just shut down and restart and all is okay. I do not use the limit of 300 per batch. -- Seymour "RonnieJP" <ronniejp@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:6b044a49-4c3d-4ef2-b8bc-f8e2e916d4e0@xxxxxx Quote: > Lately, I've noticed that when downloading messages, the number in > parentheses (to the right of the folder name) in the folder pane > sometimes does not increment. | | Re: Folders Not Updating Unread Message Count The setting that limits downloads to 300 messages seems to cause a number of problems. I suggest you uncheck that setting. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "RonnieJP" <ronniejp@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:6b044a49-4c3d-4ef2-b8bc-f8e2e916d4e0@xxxxxx Quote: > Lately, I've noticed that when downloading messages, the number in > parentheses (to the right of the folder name) in the folder pane > sometimes does not increment.
