| Guest | 5102 error By the thread below, I would think that this error was a thing of the past... I just 'upgraded' to Windows LiveMail after being told that Outlook Express would soon break. Windows Live Mail worked for about 8 hours before I started getting this message (any advice?): Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail account. Windows Live Mail can't connect to the Hotmail server. To send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later. Server Error: 5102 Server Response: timedout to ip 10.1.64.50:2000 Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002 |

| Guest | Re: 5102 error Sounds like a Hotmail internal server error. This is probably an issue of getting what you paid for. :-( -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Kris Decker" wrote in message news:2008426141712krisdecker@xxxxxx

| Guest | Re: 5102 error I get the same error now and then with a paid account, Qwest Choice DSL with MSN Premium. In my experience wait ten or fifteen minutes and the mail is sent or received normally. It's probably what the DeltaSync server does when it is overloaded and trying to catch up, but not very graceful, is it? | Guest | Re: 5102 error There a few reasons why Outlook Express 'breaks' but if referring to the the inability of using OE with the new DeltaSync server for accessing Hotmail yes, that will cease, as previously noted, on June 30. OE *will* continue to function as an email and news client, including its use for Hotmail Plus accounts($20/yr) when configured properly for the pop3/smtp server/settings. -- ...winston ms-mvp mail "Kris Decker" wrote in message news:2008426141712krisdecker@xxxxxx
