| | Non-existant junk mail appearing in IMAP inbox Hi, I am facing a unique problem- I am seeing 1000's of spam mails in my IMAP inbox folder of ALL gmail accounts, but I just don't see them when I access these accounts through web. Isnt this totally weird? Whats more weird is that I am repeatedly deleting them but again they are appearing on synchronising the folders !! And this is not happening with my hotmail account ...I do not understand how are these "ghost" mails appearing in WLM when I can't see them on the server. And why are they not vanishing when I am deleting them ! Does anyone have any clue? TIA |

| | Re: Non-existant junk mail appearing in IMAP inbox Gmail puts SPAM in a junk folder. WLM QuickView displays everything in the QuickView, including stuff in the junk folder. | | Re: Non-existant junk mail appearing in IMAP inbox Try the fix for broken Quick views. The Quick views will break in the current version of WLMail (12.0.1606) if any folder is deleted (in an Account or under Storage folders), if a Feed is deleted, or if one un-subscribes to a Newsgroup. To repair the broken Quick views, delete the registry Value "SearchFolderVersion" under the registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. This will cause WLMail to rebuild its Quick view data store when it is next started. -- Cheers, Peter.R (Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 with Windows Live Mail 12.0.1606) "There are more things in Heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy." - Shakespeare --------------- "Shilps" <helpme@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:37C56C8D-8455-42D1-8901-8C7B659E75F5@xxxxxx Quote: > gmail's junk folder is empty. > > "no one" <no @ mail .com> wrote in message > news:uCfsRSUqIHA.3508@xxxxxx Quote: >> Gmail puts SPAM in a junk folder.
