Spell Checker

Why does the spell checker in WLM "sometimes" change font and size when
making corrections. I generally use Arial 12pt for default text in email.
Sometimes, not always, when spell checker makes a correction, it will change
the font to Times Roman and 10 pt. Not a big deal, but can be a PIA when in
a hurry or after typing a long email and then having to scan whole body for
font changes.

Re: Spell Checker

Related to this, how can I change the spellchecker to use UK English instead
of American spelling?
I have changed it in IE7 but WLM continues to use an American disctionary.

Thanks.

Re: Spell Checker

Open spell.ini (in %programfiles%/Windows Live/Mail/Proof/prf0009/2)
and
change lang=1033 to lang=2057.

Re: Spell Checker

Interesting. I've never seen it do that in the 15 months I've used WLM.
Are you composing in plain text or HTML?

You on Vista? Permissions thing. Run Notepad As Administrator, then

Re: Spell Checker

Yes it is. You may think I'm mad - but I actually like SPAM. It never ceases
to be a source of entertainment. Some of the 'begging for my bank details'
SPAMS are hilarious. When I go away there are sometimes as many as 300 to
wade thro'.
Best regards.
