Live Mail Default Setting

Windows Live Mail is my default e-mail in IE 7, but I get an error
message when I try to use it. How can I fix this? The error message reads :
"Fatal Login Error. hr= 80041500, f=1"

Re: Live Mail Default Setting

I've seen a number of posts that state this update has fixed this problem
for them:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Update for Windows XP (KB904942)

Brief Description
Install this update to resolve HTTP authentication issues in Windows-based
systems that do not appear until Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 is installed

Re: Live Mail Default Setting

Here's more info on the fix:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904942/
Authentication fails when you use Outlook or Outlook Express to try to log
on to an HTTP-based mail server if you use Internet Explorer 7
