Vista - Contacts being added automatically

Since I switched from OE to Live Mail, Contacts has been adding duplicate
Groups and duplicate contacts. I'll open contacts and find unwanted dupes
have been added somehow with no input from me. The groups and contacts will
be named the same but have (2) added. I keep deleting and it keeps adding.
Help!

What method was used to add contacts originally to WLM ?
Is this a Live ID Hotmail account ?

Is WLM configured to automatically add contacts after third reply ?
WLM\Tools\Send\Automatically put people I reply to etc....
