Trouble with laptop sharing printer with desktop

I had to reset my Dell B130 laptop to it original settings. This messed up
my connected to my printer that I have attached to my desktop. I have made
sure that the printer is open for sharing. I have run the Printer setup
wizard. I get a "communication not available" error. Does anyone have a
solution to this very irritating problem.

You have posted to a newsgroup that primarily covers the
Windows Live Mail program. Since this has little or nothing
to do with your issue, you will get more help in a newsgroup
dealing with printer issues.

Or networking issues, as this involves printer sharing on a LAN.
