| | Email Accounts I would really appreciate it if you could please give me the names of any free email accounts that are compatible with Windows Live Mail (POP3) and that are simple to install. I have had enough of my problems with Gmail and would like to remove it. Will the removal be straight forward? Thanks. |

You might want to check if your internet provider does this. |

| | Re: Email Accounts Gmail is the one that springs to mind, if you prefer POP3 access. You don't *have* to use IMAP, if you don't need the advantages it gives. You can just right-click on the account and select Remove account. -- Noel "Denise Allen" <dgallen001@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:#Bue7HlrIHA.2068@xxxxxx Quote: > I would really appreciate it if you could please give me the names > of any free email accounts that are compatible with Windows Live > Mail (POP3) and that are simple to install. Mail account in the 'yahoo.co.uk', or 'yahoo.com.au' domain can be had. I have the latter (and, because I am moderately competent in Japanese, also a 'yahoo.co.jp' account). All you need to do is sign up for "Yahoo! Delivers", and Yahoo! turns on access to their POP3 and SMTP servers. http://au.yahoo.com/ http://uk.yahoo.com/ If you were willing to try IMAP services, I can think of a couple of others. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

| | Re: Email Accounts When Denise said, "I have had enough of my problems with Gmail and would like to remove it.", I read that to mean that she no longer wants to use Gmail. If so, then any Gmail email that she wants to keep in WLM should be moved to Storage folders. -- Ronald Sommer "Ildhund" <jnllb@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:#RMdmRqrIHA.4544@xxxxxx Quote: > It's an IMAP account, Ron. | | Re: Email Accounts Noel, the only reason I want to change is that I have that "All Mail" folder, which I can't stand as I can't delete from it - see Posting 03/05/08 10:28. * I thought changing email service provider would solve my problem! Will it disappear from WLM when I remove the account? * I really don't care what I lose except for my contacts - will I still have them? I am getting desperate!!!
