Spell cheker dictionary?!?

Did any one know how to edit dictionary in Windows Live Mail?
For example to remove or to add new things to dictionary or just to edit
some of the existing ones (like in Word or Excel)?
I'm not referring to custom dictionary but to already installed ones (e.g.
English - default).

Thank you very much
Laurian

Re: Spell cheker dictionary?!?

You can't edit the dictionaries that are installed. (I didn't know
you could edit those in Office, either.) The spell checker will look
in both its own and your custom dictionary for matches, and only
flag a word as incorrect if it doesn't find it in either. If you
already have an Office custom dictionary, you can open it in Notepad
and then copy its contents to your WLMail custom dictionary, called
langxxxx.lex in %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Proof. My Office 2003 dictionary is
called custom.dic in %appdata%\Microsoft\Proof.
You can also edit your custom dictionary at [Tools >] Options >
Spelling > Edit.
