Columns in Quickviews are all the same

I would like to be able to set the visible columns separately for each of the
quick views. For instance, in "all inbox" I would like to show subject date
and sender, but in all sent messages I would like to show subject, date and
recipient. What I've found is that changing the columns for one quickview
folder changes the setting for all of the folders. Is there a way to avoid
this?

It would be a nice feature for a future update. The missing feauture makes
the sent items quick view less usable.

Re: Columns in Quickviews are all the same

I can think of lots of nice new features. But MS is not going to make its
free email client so appealing that it draws customers away from Outlook.

Re: Columns in Quickviews are all the same

Thanks for the link. I've submitted the feedback. We'll see what will happen.

By the way, Gary, I don't think that basic usability features are going to
make or break outlook. Outlook is at the base an enterprise application with
specific features such as exchange server connectivity that differentiates it
from basic mail readers like WLMail.

Gary

Perhaps you're too young to recall Five Easy Pieces and the unforgettable
scene in the diner where Jack Nicholson tries to get a chicken sandwich.

I'll have MS Office, but hooold the Word, hoooold the Excel, hoooold the
Powerpoint, hoold the OneNote, hold the Access, hooold the Publisher - I
want Outlook between two slices of buttered bread.

I recommend the movie

Re: Columns in Quickviews are all the same

I don't consider being in my mid-sixties to be "too young". :-)
