Any way to recover deleted account

I am working with one of our customers that was experiencing problems sending
mail. One of the troubleshooting steps the ISP tech performed was to remove
and readd the POP account thinking windows live would act like Outlook
Express where the previously downloaded mail would not be removed.

In deleting the POP account, this deleted all the messages the customer had
previously downloaded. Is there a way to recover these deleted messages or
are they gone for good?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Does your client have a backup regime in place, if so then you should be
able to recover from there

Watching for your reply

No they do not. This is a novice user that I have "inherited" to fully
assist after the fact.

Re: Any way to recover deleted account

Removal of the account in WLM not only removes from within WLM but also deletes the files on the hard drive.

For future backup...use WLM's File/Export/Messages/Windows Live Mail or a third party utility(e.g. GenieBackup - note the WLM
plugin is required)

For the former see

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I came to the party after the fact.
Looks like I will have to try the file recover options Urban.Tiger suggested

Re: Any way to recover deleted account

FYI - I use Genie Backup Manager with the WLM gizmo, works a treat.
