windows live mail desktop / live.com

windows live mail desktop / live.com

I am sure there's someone here that can help me; I've been using using
Windows Live Mail for more than a year now and the last couple of days I
seems to have problems sending and receiving mails from my Live.com account
through WLM client. I receive the following message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (xxxxxxx) account. To send
and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com
on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer
Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the
list of services.

Server Error: 0x8BAD0022
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8BAD0022

I have reinstall the client, though the problem persists.

That looks like an artificial code to me. ("BAD" 34?)

Turn on troubleshooting logging for HTTP for more clues?

I have been having the same problem so I removed my hotmail account and it
seemed to be okay. I tried putting the hotmail account back in and it
worked fine for a couple of days and then started acting up again. I
removed the hotmail again and it is okay.

Tuttifrutti,

I have received this error numerous times since I started using WLM. In
the past I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Hotmail/Live account and
also WLM to no avail. Closing and reopening WLM also did nothing to correct
the problem. I finally decided to do nothing and just leave things as they
were. It seems to be a self-correcting error.
In my opinion it's either a bug or defect in WLM itself or a problem
with the server. Of course, I could be wrong.
