| Synchronization problems I have windows live mail on my desktop and it works just fine. I recently installed it on my laptop and it does not copy down any of my folders or messages. The Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, etc folders are all missing. There are no error messages. The only thing that shows up is a button in the right pane saying "Download". When I click it, nothing happens. I have installed WLM on two additional machines and both have this problem. The problem only occurs with my msn account, but not with my hotmail account. The other odd thing is that I can create a folder under the account on one of these two machines that does not synchronize properly, and that folder will show up on all three machines. I can even put messages in that folder and they synchronize properly. The issue seems to be that my Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts etc folders will not synchronize. I have tried multiple uninstalls, directory deletions, registry key deletions, but nothing seems to help. Perhaps there is a setting on my Inbox, Sent Items etc folders that prevents them from synchronizing across more than one machine?? any thoughts appreciated. ( I have contacted WLM support, but so far they have not been able to find a solution ). thanks Jim |

| Re: Synchronization problems Unfortunately I still have this problem. WLM can't seem to copy the folders to my laptop ( inbox, drafts, sent items, Junk email ) and therefore can't synchronize my email in those folders. Does anyone have any ideas? I have contacted WLM support multiple times, but so far there has been no solution? |
