Re: Problems With Mail Live already. Is it a Norton Issue?

My mistake, I meant to say WML. And I'll try that now.

Re: Problems With Mail Live already. Is it a Norton Issue?

Thanks for the feedback on the problem re-occurring after removing Norton.
Did you use the Norton removal tool for your product ?

Not that it helps...I've Norton AV 2003 and Norton 2006(both part of Norton System works) on separate XP systems(email scanning is
not enabled on either and WLM works without any load or email issues). While a sample size of two successes is not statistically
significant for any other or later versions of Norton, those two versions apparently don't interfere at this end.

I currently use Nod32 in Vista, and if interested in a capable, fee based program wouldn't hesitate to install if Norton didn't
work on XP. For free versions, I've used Avast without any issue in virtual environments, which unlike AVG, provides support for
the free version.

Re: Problems With Mail Live already. Is it a Norton Issue?

Bob, it's still acting crazy. Do u think I might have a corrupt mail or
file? There was some procedure a person had me do were I went in my Window
directory and erase some entry oe something to get rid of the corrupt file.
Do u know what that was or how to do that?

Re: Problems With Mail Live already. Is it a Norton Issue?

I have no way of knowing what you deleted.

See if running sfc /scannow solves your problem.

sfc /scannow. Vista.

sfc /scannow. XP
