Vista - An error

I am connecting with my cellphone as a modem...Wen i create or add my account
to Windows Live Mail, i do my connections manually, my POP3 address i enter
as "mail.hotmail.com" and SMTP, i add as "smtp.cmobile.co.za", when that is
done, Windows Live Mail says My account is configured succesfully. then when
i want to recieve my e-mail from my e-mail account which is
lesley-snyman@xxxxxx, i ge the following error message.....

Unable to send or receive messages for the Lesley Snyman account. Sorry, we
were unable to sign you in to Windows Live ID at this time. Please try again
later.

Server Error: 0x80048820
Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048820

Please reply with an solution. Thanks

Do you have an old hotmail account or are a hotmail plus subscriber?
If not then you don't have access to pop3. Hotmail accounts do not come as
standard with pop3 access.

When I search for "sclive.net" in Google I get stuff I'd rather not see,
when I search for it in Live Search I get a list of servers I cant access
with HTTP, I can ping them - I'm blocking it with Noscript.

Maybe I can get at with FTP or Telnet, nuh I won't try.

Spaces(Msft) places that content in the all Live Spaces code. Iirc, an msdn discussion last year, only a subscription
based(Premium) Live ID was believed to inhibit, not sure if that was accurate.

I suspect you found that links by clicking Privacy icon in IE's status bar. If you looked closely sclive didn't install any
cookies o any cookies on your machine. In fact, look at the each full link(rather than just the domain) and you should be able to
ascertain a few other variables involved.
