Vista - Runtime Error Message When trying to print messages

Everytime I try to print an e-mail message in Live mail Or outlook express
now I get a RUNTIME ERROR meesage, then the "wish to debug" ? I can print
items in IE 7, I can print Hotmail messages from the web based version. My
regular POP3 e-mail account is also affected. I spent 2 weeks with
Microsoft's technical wizards, and they couldn't/wouldn't help me, and
suggested paid support. I have done a complete delete/re-install following
tech helps instructions to no avail.

can you print from notepad ?

what sort of printer ?

have you another printer - if not download pdfcreator and install it. Its a
pseudo printer that allows you to print to a pdf file - it's genuinely free

I assume you have a PDF reader (eg Acrobat or Foxit), if not I suggest
PDF-XChange, it's genuinely free, has less bloat than Acrobat and has
features you only get in the payware version of Foxit.

see what happens when you "print" an email to the PDFCreator printer from OE
or WLM. After installing it will be your default printer, suggest you save
the PDF file to your desktop that way you can easily clean them up, by
default it should fire up your PDF reader once it's written the PDF file.

assuming it works then print the pdf created to the real printer from within
the PDF reader (you'll have to select the real printer, otherwise you'll get
another PDF) - if that works it'll give you a temporary workaround.

I can print in any other program, except my e-mail accounts in live mail.
Microsoft Office, Notepad, IE 7 all print fine. Any program except Live mail.
