WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

When you go to Export Contacts to a .CSV window, do you see the font is too
big there? I can't see all the avaliable contact items to select for
exporting because it doesn't fit in the window.

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

The font size is fine on mine.

You should see a vertical scroll bar on the right side of the dialog to
scroll down for the other items. On mine, the scroll bar is half cut
off (or maybe 3/4 cut off) but it's still usable.

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

My version is Turkish. There are some cuts in buttons in that window. I can't
even see the scroll bar, I can only scroll by my mouse's wheel. Also at the
bottom, the last item is cut as well. See the screenshot from this link, I
took the problematic parts into red circles:

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

Some programs let you click on the edges of their window so that the
cursor changes to a double headed arrow, then drag that edge of the
window in or out. See if that one will allow you to expand the window
this way.

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

That is an old, old bug that affected chiefly non-English language
versions of the later beta versions. MSFT claimed that it had been
fixed last September, two months before the app went gold. Some
dialogues (like that one and the Sign-in one) couldn't find the
Segoe UI font they were supposed to use and substituted MS Sans
Serif or some such, giving precisely the fault your screenshot
depicts. Did you have a beta version installed? If so, a complete
uninstall and reinstall might help - see
http://liveunplugged.spaces.live.com...90CA!226.entry
If not, does changing the display theme (to Classic, say) help?
Otherwise, you'd better draw attention to the bug at
https://support.live.com/eform.aspx?...top&ct=eformts .

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

Your font isn't much larger than in my English version. I get just 11
fields in the selection box, yours seems to be just over 11.

You could try adjust the Windows Appearance display fonts. But I'm not
sure which one you would need to change.

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

No, I didn't have the beta version of WLM in this computer.

I just went to Windows Fonts folder and opened Segoe UI and now it looks
like the problem in wl mail is gone. Also the font used in wl mail's
interface and in some other websites have been changed too after this. Maybe
those programs become aware of the existence of Segoe UI at the computer, who
knows. But now like Michael said, I can see the scroll bar but it is half cut
here too. @robert: that window cannot be resized from its borders.

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

If you change your default Windows Font Size using Desktop Properties |
Appearance -> Font Size to Large Fonts, you will also see this problem in the
English version.

Re: WLM's export contacts window's font is too big

Changing the Font Size option of Windows tiself doesn't affect Windows Live
Mail's that specific window's font. It only affects the main menu bar and
maybe some more. How could you manage to get the problem, interesting.
