| | WLM and Firefox Startup Error If Firefox is your default browser and you click on a url in a WLM mail message and Firefox is not already running then WLM comes up with an error dialog with this message: "Windows cannot find [url]. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search." However, Firefox launches and loads the url normally. |

| | Re: WLM and Firefox Startup Error It's a Firefox problem. I understand the Firefox users forum has a fix, but I'm not familiar with it. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "NewWorldMan" <kevin@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:BB86D58D-98E2-4303-9973-D7A5B3585485@xxxxxx If Firefox is your default browser and you click on a url in a WLM mail message and Firefox is not already running then WLM comes up with an error dialog with this message: "Windows cannot find [url]. | | Re: WLM and Firefox Startup Error Cheers, Ramesh. Looks like it's a long-standing issue. However, I only noticed it for the first time in WLM. Previously I'd been using OE. Could be that I was in a state whereby the extensions mentioned happened to be unproblematic. I guess for now I'll just have to ensure the browser is running before clicking on a link.
