| | Deleted emails disappear I noticed that, when I delete a message in my IMAP inbox folder, it is... gone. No trace of it in the "Deleted items" folder, either on the server or the local one in the "Storage Folders". Any ideas as to why ?? Thanks. Mike |

| | Re: Deleted emails disappear It's not the folder that disappears, it's all the deleted messages that should be placed in that folder. | | Re: Deleted emails disappear Do you have "Use the 'Deleted items' folder for IMAP accounts" selected at [Tools >] Options > Advanced? Have a look at Tools > Accounts > [account] > Properties > IMAP as well. Do the folder names tally? What exactly are you doing? Turn on troubleshooting logging for IMAP. What does it show that is happening? Quote: > Thanks. > > Mike HTH Robert Aldwinckle --- |

| | Re: Deleted emails disappear The answer is yes to all questions. Still, no deleted messages appear in relevant folder. | | Re: Deleted emails disappear I am simply deleting the message ("delete" button in the toolbar). I did turn on the IMAP troubleshooting, but where is the log file located ??
