Outbox holds only one email

Hello,

Outbox in WLM holds only one email!

If I send another one, the mail already in the Outbox folder is sent on air
(internet).

After a long year experience with IE,
I always turn off the option to send emails straight away.

After I have finished a portion of emails, I look in the Outbox folder,
end control the emails once more.
If all is OK I give the send on air command via

extras->send and receive->send all.

Thank you for tips

that Outbox hold all mails before the final command to send them on air.

Erhard

PS.
My components: Vista Ultimate, Windows Live Mail, both updated and POP3,
SMTP

Because I have a German installation the translations of some terms maybe
are uncertain.

Re: Outbox holds only one email

Do you have Tools, Options, General, Check for new messages every xx
minutes checked?

That will also cause messages to send when mail is checked.

Re: Outbox holds only one email

You are welcome and thanks for posting back.

That's a common gotcha. Many people assume that the check for new
messages applies only to receiving, but it also applies to sending.
