Hi,

I'm using a spanish version of both Live Hotmail and Windos Live Mail. As
all latin-american people (as well as some European, I think) I'm used to
dates in the format dd/mm/yy instead of mm/dd/yy. Of course, I have all
settings in my PC and in my Hotmail account adjusted properly (I think).
However, from time to time I see the birthdates of my contacts turned the
wrong way: 02/11 (November the second) gets converted to 11/02 (which my
computer and Hotmail interprets as February the 11th). This happens in a
random way, but after some time (months, maybe) all dates that can be
inverted (those whose day is 12 or less) are inverted.
Any clue about how to fix this? Who else should I contact in case this is a
real bug?

Simple. use the less ambiguous international standard
date format: yyyy-mm-dd

That setting is not in the Live Mail application.
The setting is for your whole computer system and where you set it depends
on which system you are using.

In Windows XP: Control Panel, "Regional and Language Options"; "Customize"
button.

In Windows Vista: Control Panel, "Clock, Language and Region", "Formats";
"Customize this format...".

I think Windows 98/Me are very similar to Windows XP.
