Can't connect error 4102

Hey there!

I've been getting this error for 4 days now. I've reinstalled the
software...nothing to do. I got the latest version. Even ended up with
the english version now( used to have the french one). Still does not
work.

What could be the cause?

See error message

Have you looked at Help? Troubleshooting steps are the second entry
on the page when I've clicked the Help icon.

Re: Can't connect error 4102

Well i've done that and the error is gone. BUT, now WLM want to re-
download my whole inbox and outbox folder which is a few Giga of
emails... that's not possible. I would blow my internet connection
limits and it would take days.... I have a copy of all theses emails
on my computer( which I've done before deleting the account) but If i
import them then copy them in my inbox folder I just get every email
twice...
I've also tried to copy the emails directly into the Document and
setting/program data/ Windows live mail bla bla bla folder but WLM
doesn't consider them...

How can I fix this?

If possible I would like not to delete all the messages from my online
Hotmail( that would be a solution but i want to keep a copy online )

And what should I do next time not to get this problem...

Thanks!!

Re: Can't connect error 4102

Are you really asking if it is possible to completely disable WLM sync'ing with the Hotmail server while locally defaulting only to
the previously imported messages and then receive future(new) messages to the same account.
