Hotmail Account not emptying "Deleted Items"

I wonder if anyone can help. I have recenty started using WLM instead of
Outlook Express and have come across this issue.

I have got 4 accounts setup on Windows Live Mail. I have also got the option
for "Empty Deleted Messages" set. All of the accounts, apart from my Hotmail
account, carry out this action.

What can be done to resolve this issue for Hotmail please?

From my understanding, the Hotmail deleted items empty when the Hotmail
server decides to. It's not a matter of OE or WLM.

Open WLM, before sending or receiving, navigate to the Hotmail account folder, right click on the 'Deleted items' folder in that
same account, scroll and select Empty 'Deleted Items' folder.

I can empty the messages if I do it manually i.e. following these steps.
What I was after was for it to be done automatically when I exit WLM.

Changing the server will not help or hinder auto-deletion of messages.

WLM's delete on exit option is applicable only to:
a. Deleted Items folder in each Pop3 account
b. Deleted Items folder in the Storage Folders

Hotmail/Live/Msn.com accounts can be emptied manually or wait for the Server to delete messages.
