Safe/Blocked Senders List

I have been using WLM for several months, w/o signing in to my Live Acct. I
have had the ''exiting" problem posted here a bazillion times, and have
decided to start signing in to my Live Acct. to eliminate the issue.

I am assuming my safe/blocked senders list is located on my machine, since I
never signed into LIve Acct. Now that I am signing on, I am assuming all
info is on the net in my Live Acct.

Is there a way to get my safe/block senders life from my "non-sign" in to my
"sign-in" acct?

The repeated use of "assuming" is the politically correct way of stating I
have no clue at all ;-)

Re: Safe/Blocked Senders List

Have a look at Tools > Safety options > Safe senders etc. while
you're signed in. Is anything there?

I just checked: regardless of which Live ID I sign in with, or
whether I sign in at all, the lists look the same to me. This should
therefore synchronize with your Live account on the web - if you
check the log file, you can see whether this is happening or not.

Re: Safe/Blocked Senders List

Ildhund,

I re-installed ''Windows Live Sign In Assistant" - all is well.

Re: Safe/Blocked Senders List

Glad you got it fixed. For the record, the log (WindowsLiveMail.log)
is in the root of your Store folder, whose location you can see at
[Tools >] Options > Advanced > Maintenance > Store folder. You have
to enable logging under Troubleshooting on that Maintenance tab.
