Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80070057

Using Windows Live Mail, I receive the following:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (buteonidae) account. To send
and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com
on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer
Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the
list of services.
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80070057

Checking the Hotmail account reveals nothing wrong there. It's a Windows
Live Mail error. What do I do about it?

What server is the hotmail/msn account using ?

http://oe.msn.msnmail.hotmail.com/cgi-bin/hmdata
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
http://oe.hotmail.com/secure/hmdata (old server and may normally only work for pre CY2002 accounts)
