Possible Improvements....

I have been using WLM in place of OE for a few weeks now and it is reasonably
good certainly better than Windows Mail in Vista. But there are a few points
where it could be improved, let me know your thoughts....

1)... Greater colour contrasts to show which email address (or news group
etc.) is selected in the Folder Pane.

2)... The Inline tool should embed the graphic file in its original size as
standard and only have resizing as an option.

3)... A 'White List' of sites where it is OK to show the images by default
would be fantastic - I get fedup have to click "Show Images" on every email I
get from a known safe souce.

4)... In the 'Message List' it would be helpful to show ONLY 'Todays mail',
with expandable top down panes for 'Previous Weeks Mail' and 'All Mail'. This
would help clean up the screen for peaple who need to keep lots of emails.

Re: Possible Improvements....

In regard to point 4, to add an e-mail address to your 'safe senders list': right click on the e-mail in your message list->Junk e-mail->'Add sender to safe senders list'.

Also, ensure you check the option 'Show images and external content sent from e-mail addresses in my Safe Senders list' at: Tools->Safety options...->Security [tab]->Download Images [section].

It's probably not a good idea to clutter your Inbox with old messages.
After I read newly arrived mail, the ones that require later action are
placed in a Hold folder. The rest are either deleted, or archived to folders
under Storage folders. That way the Inbox serves its intended purpose, to
hold newly arrived mail.
