| Guest | Permitting Spell Check to correct a word Changes the Font I have noticed on my XP PC, SP3 that if I right click and choose the corrected spelling for a word, that WLMail changes the font for those words. Is there a hidden configuration setting somewhere that needs to be fixed? |

| Guest | Re: Permitting Spell Check to correct a word Changes the Font Several people have reported that. But I have not been able to reproduce that. I presume that you are using HTML format. Are you using any stationery? What font are you typing in? What font does it get changed to? And what font do you have specified at Tools, Options, Compose? By the way, look at Help, About Windows Live Mail and make sure that it says: Build 12.0.1606 -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "tester" <tester@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:AD6AB488-25FD-4D09-82D1-DFD6490B2E1F@xxxxxx

| Guest | RE: Permitting Spell Check to correct a word Changes the Font I am having a similar problem. It seems that when using spell check on a composed email, if a misspelled word is at the beginning of a new line, it changes the font size to 12pt Arial. This seems like it changes it to plain text formatting, as this is the size of plain text. My font settings are the default ones from first running WLM. I have read that others have experienced this, yet some do not. I hope there is a fix in the next update. |

| Guest | Re: Permitting Spell Check to correct a word Changes the Font That explains some of it. I wasn't able to reproduce it until you mentioned the first word in a paragraph. For me it changes to Times New Roman at 12 pt. For me it seems to only do it if the first word in a paragraph and use Right click or F7. Autocorrect doesn't seem to screw up. It wouldn't hurt to send you feedback along to Microsoft.
