Vista - Live Mail Doesn't Start (no error messages)

I am running MS Windows SP2 (SP3 corrupts my TCPIP).

Windows live mail has been running fine. However now I click on my Windows
Live Mail icon and the mouse pointer changes to show its waiting.. Then the
mouse pointer goes back to normal and live mail doesn't start. It also is
not in the task list in task Manager.

I have a number of email accounts going through it and am reluctant to
delete it and reinstall as I don't really want to have to put all the mail
settings back in...

You can do File/Export/Accounts which will export your account information
to a file.
Un-install (won't affect messages you've already downloaded), re-install
then do file/Import.
This should save you from having to manually re-input all your account
information and should fix your problem as well.
