    Hi,

Is it possible to launch multiple instances of Windows Live mail at the
    same time?

Yes. Each Windows user account can have an instance running, but
I've only tried two at a time.

    Hi, Knowledge Worker.

    No, but...

You didn't say if you are running WinXP/OE or Vista/WM.

You can open WLM and WM or OE side by side. WLM can be installed on either
WinXP or Vista, and it does not delete OE or WM, but just hides their
shortcuts. You can still open OE or WM, even if WLM is running. That may
or may not be useful to you, depending on what you have in mind.

If you tell us what your goal is, maybe we can help you do it.

Re: Multiple instances of Windows Live Mail

Thank you for your reply Paul!!

    I also use Lotus Notes
In case I have installed notes on
    C:\Lotus\Notes,
I copy the notes folder and save it a location. (Lets say C:\Lotus\Notes1

I go into the Notes1 folder. We will find a notes.ini file.
In the notes.ini, I search for C:\Lotus\Notes and replace this path to
    c:\Lotus\Notes1

I would then launch the nlnotes.exe file in C:\Lotus\notes1 folder and would
be able to launch two instances of Lotus Notes.
If I want more instances, I can copy and paste the notes folder and fix the
    notes.ini file

My work requires me to work extensively on email.
With Lotus notes, it ispossible for me to open different clients and work on
    them together.

However with Windows Live, I am not able to open multiple instances.
I have to scroll between the 8 hotmail accounts and the multiple news
    groups.
    It becomes difficult for me.
I am more of a keyboard person rather than a mouse person. I prefer to
    Control -Tab into different windows.

    Any thoughts?

Like someone said, you can have WLM and OE open at the same time.
