Conversation Mode

I loved the conversation mode in the outlook but up till now I am not been
able to locate this option in the Windows Live Mail. Similarly Outlook
Express showed replied to the same message together. This was indeed very
useful feature because you can easily find different views together. I need
help, if any one knows how these two features can be applied in the Windows
Live Mail.

Re: Conversation Mode

Thanks for your helpful comments but the problem is still unresolved. Where
is the view button? I could not locate it.

Re: Conversation Mode

The View optiion is on the WLM menu bar.
If the Menu bar is not present, press Alt M M or click on the show menu button(show all menus)- right side of the tool bar between
the pen(color) and question mark(Help) buttons.

Re: Conversation Mode

Hi, Socrates.

For some reason many of us don't understand, the WLM Team chose to hide the
Menu Bar by default! :>(

To see it momentarily, just press the <Alt> key. To turn it on and keep it
on, find the little icon near the right end of your Toolbar - the one just
to the left of the "?" Help button. Click that and be sure there is a check
in front of Show all menus.

Then you should see the familiar choices of File, Edit, View...

Re: Conversation Mode

No doubt the WLM Team took their inspiration from Vista
which hides the menu bar by default from just about all screens.
Those who are familiar with Vista have grown used to pressing
Alt when we want to see that menu bar. I like having the extra
vertical space for more data display lines.
