So, is that using Vista too? ; ) FWIW dragging a URL that WLMail recognizes as a URL works for me (XPsp2) definitely when the URL originates in an HTML message. So if it was Plain text it would simply be a matter of pressing Alt-Shift-H before doing the drag. Actually I'm not sure if the Plain text case doesn't do something too but it may only be a case of delayed activation. ; ) E.g. unlike the HTML which waits for me to do the "drop", when a URL from a Plain text message is dragged it doesn't give the usual indication that a URL is being dragged but the originating link's open action seems to occur as soon as it reaches a window which accepts it. | | Re: Drag/Drop anyone? I'm on XP SP2. I determined why the URL drag and drop wasn't working for me. I had WLM in the restricted zone with everything disabled. Changing that lets the URL drag and drop work. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Robert Aldwinckle" <robald@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:6EE215AD-A1CB-4B6D-9CBA-999A97B2233D@xxxxxx Quote: > "Michael Santovec" <michael_santovec@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:e5StqRn0IHA.3920@xxxxxx Quote: >> Dragging text from the body to the subject works fine for me. >> >> Since you can drag within the body, I presume that the cursor changes >> to >> the box as you drag.
