loginnet passport

i have generated an account for loginnet and now when i sign in something
elswe pops up wanting me to get hot mail or one of other things when all i'm
tryin to do is respond to online classified postings on craigslist, "drummer
wanted" just to let u know its not anything wierd or..whatever. so i click to
get ANOTHER account so i can answer my adds and it says i allready have an
account which i do but.....I am getting a little upset because as far as i
know i did not sign up ask for or any other form of solisatation want this .
as much as i love geeks i don't have time to become one. how do i opt out of
all these mail things. i recently did down load some auto install windows
update thing a 3pak or2pak?, was loginnet in it? my response to my adds is
time sensitive and it's makin me look bad because i have no other way of
contacting these prospective musicians unless they leave ph# any help would
be great,thanks.macdogy

Re: loginnet passport

A bit more information and clarity would be appreciated.
Define 'something else'
O/S, email client ?
Get another account ? Hotmail/Live ID ? if Craiglist contact them.
Opt out of mail things ? What mail things ?

Re: loginnet passport

When clicking on an email link, the operating system (Windows) calls
up whatever is designated as the default email program. You can
change that default in most cases. What is your current preferred
email method? It would have been helpful if you had disclosed that
up front.

In a pinch you can always copy and paste the Craigslist info into
your favorite email application. You would have to use that procedure
instead of clicking on an email link in the Craigslist article.
