| | Problems with replying&forwarding mails in newsgroup Guys, I've got a problem with replying and forwarding mails in newsgroup of windows live mail. I found that replying/forwarding in newsgroup will call the application OE, and also the mail account that I set for OE is used, not what I set for WLM. I have to set the accounts for OE once again. So now I have to add OE component again in order to be able to reply/forward in newsgroup, and it sends mails out not even with my accounts in Windows live mail! Any ideas? Is it a bug or just something that is designed like this? If the answer is the latter one, I think this is little ridiculous: Doesn't develops WLM just for replacing OE? Any suggestions? Thanks for all. |

| | Re: Problems with replying&forwarding mails in newsgroup Like OE, WLM uses the default mail program to send mail from newsgroups, which is not necessarily itself. Check the following - WLM: Tools, Options, General - IE: Tools, Internet Options, Programs - Also, in Windows XP: Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Set Program Access and Defaults, Custom, Email and select WLM. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Graham" <miao.graham@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:52FBF61D-8399-4D45-9309-2F58E9369A89@xxxxxx Quote: > Guys, I've got a problem with replying and forwarding mails in > newsgroup of windows live mail. > > I found that replying/forwarding in newsgroup will call the > application OE, and also the mail account that I set for OE is used, > not what I set for WLM. | | Re: Problems with replying&forwarding mails in newsgroup I've switched to WLM for quite a long time, but it was the first time several days before that I used "forward/reply" in newsgourp of WLM and then I encountered the issue. | | Re: Problems with replying&forwarding mails in newsgroup That's exactly my problem. I've left OE as my default mail client. I changed it and it's ok now. Thanks in advance.
